Our Fellowship Program brings together exceptional individuals from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. It is a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in an intensive learning experience while collaborating with like-minded peers and industry leaders.
Each year we welcome a broad mix of scholars to be visiting members of the institute’s vibrant research community, fellows are expected to provide a public lecture on their research activities.
We welcome applications from all disciplinary backgrounds. With the exception of CIDS faculty, all fellowships are non-stipendiary awards (no cash value).
Applications are adjudicated by the centre's Program Committee based on the academic merit of the proposal, the views of the referees and the recent scholarly activity of the candidate.
Collision Institute of Development Studies (CIDS) welcomes applications from scholars in Nigeria and abroad for a visiting research fellowship. Fellows typically stay between two to twelve months; however, the institute will consider requests for terms of any length, as approval is conditional on space availability in a given year.
Nigerian and international scholars; emeritus scholars; new scholars; scholars on sabbatical leave from their regular academic appointments.
Fellows will have access to the internet, scanner, and photocopier services, and opportunities to participate in all CISD social and academic activities.
